With WinTrip's fast and easy trip scheduling, you can schedule a single or recurring trip directly from the client screen. Simply search for the customer, open their record, and schedule the trip.

WinTrip fills in most of the basic trip information for you based on the data stored in the client record, so you spend more time helping your customers and less time waiting on your software!

Comprehensive Client Profiling

WinTrip stores as much data about a customer as you would like. In addition to all of the standard identification fields, you can keep track of the client's Medicaid number, the Medicaid program they are currently in and the last date they were verified.

Additionally, WinTrip allows you to create your own demographic codes and store as many as you would like about every customer.

Multiple Trip Provider Support

Many transit companies subcontract other transit companies to provide at least some of the actual transportation. Each of the these various subcontractors are referred to as "providers".

WinTrip allows you to configure multiple providers, and then select which provider will provide each trip either at the time the trip is scheduled or later on when the manifests are being built. Of course, configuring a default provider will save you a step along the way.

Multiple Segments per Trip

While all trips will have at least one segment, and most trips will have two, there is no limitation in WinTrip that prevents a trip from having more than just two segments.

In fact, you can have as many segments for a trip as you would like, and scheduling each additional segment is extremely easy! Simply highlight the last segment of the trip, and click the "Add Related/Return Trip" button and all the information is carried forward and the destinations are properly adjusted.

Flexible Client Search Screen

Finding a customer in WinTrip is extremely easy. WinTrip's client search screen lets you search on names, addresses, birth dates, Social Security Numbers, phone numbers and Medicaid numbers.

If you can't find a customer using one of those fields, then that customer probably isn't in the system.

Recurring Trip Scheduling

Some people referr to a regularly recurring trip as a "subscription" trip, but WinTrip uses the term "Recurring".

WinTrip excels in this area because of the flexibility of the scheduling engine. Each recurring trip can be scheduled for one or more days of the week, suspended for a period of time, or authorized for a particular period of time, all the while taking into account holidays.

Medicaid Billing & Verification

What transit software package would be complete without integrated Medicaid billing and customer verification? WinTrip creates the periodic Medicaid billing batches that can be electronically submitted to Medicaid.

Each customer can be marked for verification, and WinTrip will populate the card number and program fields with the information returned by Medicaid so you can easily see how to handle a particular customer.

User-Definable Client Demographic Codes

You can store an unlimited amount of information about each customer by defining your own client demographic codes.

These codes can then be used in generating reports that enable you to get a clear picture of your client base, and help you see how you can tailor your service to better meet your customer's needs.

Auto-Generate Trip Manifests

When you are ready to begin work on your manifests, you can go to the manifest listing screen and click the "Auto-Generate" button. This button will build your manifest records for you based on how the trips have been scheduled.

From there you can easily move trips between manifests and make any additional changes you need.

Comprehensive Reporting Features

WinTrip has a report designer built right into the interface. And since it uses Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as the back-end database engine, you can use just about any query building tool to design the queries that will power your reports.

The WinTrip database has views and stored procedures defined that will help you get at the information you need without having to be a SQL genius.

While many people wouldn't care how a product is developed, you can rest comfortably knowing that WinTrip is going to be around for a long time. It was built from the ground up using Microsoft's .NET technology.
